Join Natalie Rose for an immersive one-day intensive, consolidating the essential knowledge of Bottoming in Rope 101, 201, 301, and 401 into six transformative hours. This workshop is designed to center and empower rope bottoms, offering an enriching journey from foundational concepts to advanced transition suspensions.
You’ll explore a variety of topics, including but not limited to:
· Vetting rope partners and negotiation techniques
· Mental and physical preparation for rope
· Recognizing sensations of comfort vs discomfort
· Open communication during rope play
· Mindful breathing and maintaining control while bound
· Body positioning and muscle control during transitions in suspension
Whether you're a seasoned rope bottom or just starting, Nat will share invaluable insights, offering tips that come from years of hands-on experience. This workshop is designed to provide the tools needed for personal empowerment, informed decision-making, and safety throughout your rope journey.
Tying prerequisites:
If you plan to tie, you should be proficient in constructing a sustainable, 10-15 minute suspension scene. Bring at least 12 lengths of suspension-worthy rope and your preferred suspension equipment. Ties and upline proficiency will be assessed for safety, and those who don’t meet the tying criteria may be asked to audit that section of the class.
For those not yet at the tying level, you are encouraged to attend and tie within your current skill range, taking notes to enrich your learning. Solo attendees are also welcome to audit the class.
